Bodies change. Mine has.
I’m a mum, and I’m proud of my body. Of course there are things I can do to improve it .
I know how, it’s my job. But sometimes I have to choose between pushing towards burnout or finding a more even balance as a mum, while being aware of the pressure we are all under.
Bodies change.
I know that for sure, especially hitting 51 this next month. Life pressures, menopause, everything in between. It’s tough, I’m not going to lie. Luckily I have tools that help me through it.
And honestly… how often do you feel that?
You’re scrolling Instagram, comparing yourself, thinking you should be doing more. Even me, I still catch myself doing it.
And so many mums and busy working women just aren’t making time for themselves.
“I’ll start tomorrow… I’ll go the gym tomorrow… not today.” And then tomorrow never really comes because life is full. Housework, kids clubs, everything else… the list is endless.
But what actually happens when you do find that motivation? Everything feels clearer. You start creating space for yourself and you move forward again.
And when you feel better in yourself, everything else feels easier.
Because I know when I’m not feeling great, it shows. I get snappy, I overthink, I put pressure on myself.
So instead of all that… what about small steps?
That’s why I created the Busy Mum’s Reset.
It starts 20th April, fully online, no gym needed. No crazy changes either, just simple habits built into real life to help you feel more motivated and get moving again.
Real habits for real life. Less pressure, more consistency.
